Very last of the back log so need to get back to drinking some new beers soon! Thankfully I’ve got a couple days off work to get cracking with that task! So another short review today with a beer I had kicking about for quite a while. This is Fourpure’s core session IPA ‘Hemisphere’ coming in at 4.2% ABV.
A fairly clear light gold colour with a white head. On the nose there is a citrus medley but with some herbaceous notes mixed in there as well. It is a very light drinkable beer. It has a smooth bitter finish from the hops that is not overpowering. Nice citrus flavour and certainly lives up to being a sessionable brew.
A quick note on the can art: Another stunning piece of art work. The hot air balloons really match up with the light floaty feeling of the beer. Not sure I’ve seen a bad can from them yet!
Apologies for another short one today as I’ve been at work a lot. This is a really lovely beer and obvious why it is part of Fourpure’s core range. Very drinkable with good flavour, you’d be happy finding this on tap in a pub. After having a few of their funkier beers this was a nice, welcome break to normality and proof they do the standard stuff well. I’ve got a slightly different style of post cooking up soon so please keep an eye out for that!
Score: 7.5/10
Thanks for reading! Cheers!

Bought my dad a box of these for his birthday but never actually had one (Covid means I haven’t been able to catch up with him for a beer in a while). Glad they are good, otherwise that would have been a rubbish present.

Haha can definitely confirm they are good beers! Hope you get a chance in the near future to have a beer with your old man James!
